Rikki Rocx,"The Vegas Rocker" Artist

Have you ever wondered how people get their nicknames? Sometimes they are given to them by friends, and sometimes they just stick with them. 

  Ever since I started to go to the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas. Since I lived in Vegas,over the years, I became like “Julie  the entertainment director on the TV show Love Boat” with the artist that came to the show. 

   Here is how Rikki Rocx came about, a name that some new artist friends gave me at SEMA 2003. What started from a couple guys thought his name  was Ricky, I would never correct the guys, he just answered them. One night, out & about with the group of 8 fellow artists. Went to NY NY hotel to eat at the Motown Cafe . Where they found there was a long line with an hour & half wait to be seated.  Russ went to the podium where the hosts were standing to see about a line pass by name dropping couple hire ups. When Russ came back to the group, with the line pass to be setted now, a couple guys said "Ricky you Rock" .. Since Rikki Rocx stuck with me, that's what everyone called me. I liked the name so I decided to  create the spelling to make it my own Rikki Rocx the Vegas Rocker.

   I just finished an incredible weekend at the Las Vegas Guitar Trade Show Convention, and I can't wait to share my experience with you all!
